There are many delicious casual dining options in Steamboat. Here are some of my go-to orders. Nothing fancy, only scrumptious every single time. I hope you find your ‘Boat favorites too.

#1. 🥗 Jen’s Chicken Salad at Freshies.

If you are a fan of a great chicken salad, this recipe will hook you for life. It’s impossible to order anything else.

🌻 If it’s not winter and you’ve never been, be sure to check out the Yampa River Botanic Park very near Freshies .

#2. Any Soup & 🍞 Bread at Riverside Cafe in the library.

Every single item on the menus tastes like love. It’s kinda weird. Try anything and find out what I mean.

#3. 🍪 Ice cream cookie sandwich and the Happy Hour burger at Primrose.

The burger is memorable but the ice cream sandwich can make one drive through a snowstorm for a frozen dessert.

#4. Tuna melt with chips at The Shack.

Just exactly how a tuna melt should be. Unless you think it should only be on someone else’s plate! Mine. 😋

#5. Cannoli + a 🍕Blue Sage Pizza.

It’s the best kept dessert case in town. It should not be a secret. The flavors, quality and value at Blue Sage are excellent.
